Semi OT: Wizards' Blatche Charged With Solicitation

Washington Wizards forward <u>Andray Blatche</u>, a restricted free agent, was arrested early Thursday on sexual solicitation charges.

Blatche, 20, and a man identified in court documents as Gregory Palmer, tried to solicit sex from an undercover police officer, according to charging documents.

Blatche was scheduled to appear in District of Columbia Superior Court on Thursday, court spokeswoman Marie Robertson said. He was also wanted for failure to appear on a charge of driving without a license, stemming from an arrest in October 2006, according to court documents. </p>

I'll reserve my judgment until I see both Jamaal and Blatche play this year, though I'm glad we have a guy like Magloire on the team in the aftermath of the Celtics getting KG.</p>

 

I think this atually makes him slightly more gettable. I still like Blatche, wouldn't mind seeing him in a Nets jersey.

Regardless, this has shades of Eddie Griffen. Although Andray tried to solicit someone else. </p>

 

I'd be ecstatic if we signed him. Dre', Sean and Marcus could all star together in a killer sitcom. </p>

I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that he was searching for a prostitute, or the fact that he was searching for a prostitute in Washington D.C.

 

Well, if he had been smart about his money, he would have been able to hire a high-class prostitute, of which there are PLENTY in DC. Problem is, he's practically broke, and was forced into trying to pick someone up in a bar.</p>

If nothing else, it's a lesson in the dangers of financial instability.</p>
