I know Drummond said he won’t sign for that amount but he may not be in for the pay day he anticipates. Especially after his performance against the suns.
I dislike Kuzma and the slim chance that Nurk goes to LA and turns into an unstoppable force that helps them win another championship makes me sick.
I would. Ugh. Kuzma is overpaid and unaccomplished. Nurk is our starting center on a reasonable contract with no clear replacement (I like Kantner, but we know he's got issues in many matchups). Why would Portland do this?

Simmons/1st for CJ Kuzma/1st for Nurk I don’t like Kuzma but what’s Nurk worth? If they hire MDA… Dame/Ant Powell/CJ2 RoCo/Nas Kuzma Simmons/Zach Plus 2 1s to fill out the roster. That’s definitely a MDA roster. Honestly I don’t like it. Looks like a 6-7 seed.

Daryl Morey’s philosophy is predicated on good 3 point shooting and scoring easy buckets in the paint. McCollum is a mid range guy. I’m not sure he fits Morey’s prototypical style.

Thy: 30.1% Simmons: 30.0% for CJ: 40.2% DJJ: 31.6% It brings up an intriguing question: What is more important in the modern NBA, Defense or 3 point shooting? I think you have to have both, but 3 point shooting is likely more important. So, maybe they should add a 1st rounder
