    SRS: 8.21 (1st of 30) Pace: 97.6 (13th of 30)

    Off Rtg: 114.7 (1st of 30) Def Rtg: 106.1 (6th of 30) Net Rtg: +8.7 (1st of 30)

    Expected W-L: 61-21 (1st of 30)

    NBA 2018 Playoffs:

So he obviously can coach a good defensive team.

    yup.

sorry for re-posting, but here's the breakdown. MDA teams can play defense if the right personnel is available.

Guessing that is the case with most coaches. A few like Thibs can create a different defensive culture (at times) but it is an offensive league.

we can also take solace in the fact that MDA (for all the crap he got thrown his way) never coached a defense as bad as Stotts has the past few years.

His much maligned defenses in Phoenix were 17th, 16th, 13th, and 16th in the league in DRTG. Pair that with a number 1-3 offense and you win 55-60 games. Terry Porter took over that roster the following season and they had the 28th ranked defense.

Looks like the Celts are getting Udoka. Also makes it seem like Chauncey would choose Portland over Boston.

Wonder why we never even bothered with Ime.

What if interviewing MDA was just a favor to his agent, who also just so happens to represent Olshey? Throw in the woman for good press and you can almost convince people you didn’t have your mind made up all along with Billups. Would explain why they seemingly ignored qualified guys like Udoka and Ham.

Didn't realize two more years as an assistant meant so much to you.

Is she not a woman? Would she not be making history? She was a trending topic the day Woj tweeted about her. Acknowledging these facts doesn’t make me a sexist or whatever the fuck it is you’re implying. Get a grip.

Also, Ime played in the league, just like Billups. That gives them an advantage over Hammon when it comes to connecting with players. Sorry, playing in the WNBA isn’t comparable. That’d be like a career minor leaguer telling a major leaguer he can relate.

The way the game is played today and the way players want to be coached these days, I dont think having a retired player, that's been involved with winning is a bad thing.
Lets see, Monte Williams played, Lue played, Nate played, not sure about Bud?
