I like the fact that Hammons seems strong on accountability and she wouldn't give an inch because she definitely has something to prove. I like Billups because he seems aggressive and has all of the clout of a champions and Finals MVP. I'm cool with D'Antoni if he comes with a young defensive minded associate head coach. MDA would almost guarantee that Dame wins MVP next season and that we'll have home court advantage in the first round.

In other words, I'm cool with all three of our known candidates... I just want the team to make up their minds and get moving forward with more changes around Dame, that will make us a contender.

For the record I like Chauncey the most but I'm a big fan of his from his playing days and am really trying not to convict someone on an allegation that would make him an absolute monster. So I'm just trying to go off of what I know and what I know makes me like Chauncey the most.

Nice play Monte. Game winning dunk off the inbounds with Dame time left.

He's been my dream to replace Stotts for a long time.

But since we are not getting Monte, I'm all in on Billups. I truly believe he is the right coach at the right time.

Comparing Stotts to Dantoni is like comparing a moldy burger from Wendy's to a medium rare steak from Mastro's.

There's a reason why Mike regularly gets some of the best coaching assignments in the league after all this time. He's one of the best. I'd prefer Becky or Chauncey but would not be upset with Mike. We'd be way better automatically with him.

I’m gonna be the only guy on the Brent Barry bandwagon. It just has such a similar feeling to Steve Kerr..that turned out pretty well for the warriors

This isn’t an argument against Barry, but I think it’s more roster than coach in GS. Luke Walton went 39-4 with a loaded Warriors team

Kerr has won 54 total games the last 2 years without multiple all stars out there

I have a sneaking suspicion Carlisle gets a look.

He probably quit thinking he was off to Milwaukee but that aint happening.

Indiana doesn't seem like they want him back.

Boston has suggested their next coach will be black.

We might be all he has so his agent will push him here

Mike D'Antoni or Rick Carlisle? Who would you choose out of those two?

MDA. I really have no interest in Carlisle at this point.

Carlisle only won 50 games once (2014-15) since the championship run in 2011 and never advanced past the first round. I've also held him in high regard but is that stat a product of his aging roster/re-build or his coaching?

...coaching! When push comes to shove, nobody wants to play for a micro-managing tyrant asshole in today's NBA :dunno:

I think it has always been Billups. I don't think MDA is a serious candidate. Unless there's another person that has flown under the radar.
