I was throwing out a play on words from the other post.
Just having fun with it. Sorry for the confusion.
Yes i agree he is probably a great guy and i also agree i would probably go no stress and have a bunch of fun doing what i love. My idea of fun is teaching and coaching as well.

That’s interesting. Teams are moving fast. Hopefully, we’re up next. I would think we have the most attractive job available of the vacancies remaining.

All these teams filling their coaching jobs. Starting to make me think there are issues between Vulcan and Neil…

They'd be at the bottom of most lists....or just above Orlando...that front office is really dysfunctional and Zion wants out...New Orleans is the greyhound bus station of the NBA...every franchise player asks out of there...CP3 ..Davis and now Zion...what's the attraction? The muggy weather? The flood zone?

    Lose the attitude.

Our job has been open longer than all of these teams and there has been reports Jody Allen wants Hammon and Neil wants billups. What I said isnt farfetched smart guy

If these are supposed to be believed, Portland is the worst job available.

pretty certain it isn't becky at this point. she was interviewed monday and there are no reservations announcing her at this stage.

only possibility is they're waiting to interview everyone before making a decision.

zion thing is a rumour, not a fact

even if he wants out, hes not going anywhere for the next five or six years

zion, ingram, lonzo, they have picks if im not mistaken, thats really attractive job, certainly more attractive than portlands job with 31 yo dame and backcourt that doesnt work and defensive personnel that is suspicious

This is just getting scary now. I do not want a head coach "because" she is a woman.
We want a winner not a statement. If Jody said something like "She has done her research and interviewed the candidate' If she was saying more than just being the first i would feel better. But the way things are right now?
I'm not thinking this is the coach the Blazers need at all.

While I'll admit that NOLA would be attractive if you were a head coach candidate... it's not a slam dunk that they're a better destination than the Blazers. If the Blazers re-sign Norm and trade CJ for a forward that can defend and be a second or third scoring option then this team actually becomes a very good defensive team.

The fact is that Dame alone makes this a very good destination for a head coach. The problem with a team like NOLA is expectations. Is this new coach supposed to get them from the 11th spot in the West to the fifth just because of all of the young talent on the team that should be getting better?

No, a 31 year old Dame is a great thing to have if you're an newly hired head coach.

I’d bet the Pelicans next coach gets fired before the Blazers next coach.
    Stability matters.
Pelicans don’t have that.. at all.

And the fact you pointed out the Blazers roster is mismatched but said nothing of the Pelicans, muuuuuch more mismatched roster is… interesting.
