This is the Billups I knew. The model citizen, the father of three girls. The NBA even gave him a citizen of the yr award in his playing days.

No it didn't. This hasn't been brought up at all until Portland got involved. These are the articles that I found on Billups just last year on the Clippers hire. I TRIED to find anything about the allegations from 24 years ago in any article. Maybe someone else can dig it up, but I can't find a single mention. Just from this fanbase. I wish Portland fans could just be happy that this franchise just got a hell of a talented ex basketball player who seems primed to be a very god coach.
