For me, it's this old t-shirt. Must be over 20 years old. Has some wear and holes in it, but it's the most comfortable Blazers shirt I own. I won't part with it. How about you? Anything your significant other tries to toss, but you find it and bring it back to life?
For the right price it's all for sale but the zipper is broken on my favorite hoodie...I'm only nostalgic about certain guitars...I have four that will never be sold. The other part of my collection rotates with gift season...I like to give guitars to my family members and relatives and keep them in the family...my son has the Blazer signed ball from the Mason Plumlee, Tim Frazier era but it's got Dame's and CJ's signatures...he'll never sell that.
I have had a #25 Jersey for around 30 years. Clyde had an appearance at a local store taking autographs. I showed up with my 2 year old to get a autograph. The line was WAY too long for a 2 year old, so we hung around for a while. In that time, Clyde looked over to me and my oldest, and said to the crowd "Hey, it's Jerome!" Many years later, JK25 came to my small town, and I didn't see him until late in the afternoon. I asked him how long he was going to be here, and he said that they were leaving soon. I drove home (1.5 miles away, like I said, small town). I go get my jersey, and he signed it. Happy to have a signed jersey from my favorite all-time Blazer (Brian Grant is a close 2nd, though). One month later, Jerome died. Listen to any of the fans he's met or the staff he's worked with, he's never acted he was above them, like some star. A great asset to the community. There are plenty of basketball divas, but Jerome came from a small school, and worked his ass of for everything he got. I'll never forget him.
I have a Red Hot and Rollin t-shirt I bought at Fred Meyer in 1977. It's in about the same shape as yours. I don't wear it anymore I have it tucked away somewhere.
My favorite Blazer item is a basketball signed by Lillard that a bunch of you in the forum got and gave to me at one of our Suite parties. It really means a lot. Thank you again! My 2nd favorite item is a pristine 1980s era Blazer starter jacket. My 3rd favorite item is a special City Edition Lillard jersey that the Blazers sent to me. There are only 200 of them ever made and it included a letter of authenticity. My 4th is two complete sets of the trading cards the Portland Police handed out to kids the summer the Blazers won the championship. I remember my friends and I riding our bikes all over NE Portland looking for police cars to bug for cards.
That first item? That was mainly @HailBlazers. im not sure who else, but i know i chipped in on it. if i knew then what i know now….
My one of a kind Adidas RipCity2 jersey that was signed by the 2017 team! Still can't believe I won that. I also have an old B-Roy t-shirt that I cut the sleeves off of. That was my hooping shirt for a long time, so it's pretty gross but I would never get rid of it.
A friend who has sat next to me at the games the last few years just moved back to Missouri. he sent me a rodney hood autographed shirt and an unworn/unwashed 77’ championship tshirt. im shopping for a frame for it to go up with my collection but will likely be my favorite thus far. I also have some other championship skrill i really cherish.
