Yup, but you know how it is...nobody is gonna feel sorry for the Yanx. But I'm not ready to give up yet because if the Yanx can ever get their shit together they still have a ton of games vs TB and Boston.
I told y’all they’d get swept. This is a very incomplete team with no heart and no leader. They can’t trade for the now because they need so many pieces to be a contender and they don’t really have much that anyone would want so this is what we are stuck with for a few more seasons until Trashman is “relieved of duty” aka promoted to a different position within the organization. It’s obvious that Steinbrenner is too soft to fire him, so Trashman will be allowed to stay here until he feels ready to leave, which likely won’t be until he dies (someone feel free to call Uncle Vito and get that done btw). This is just a straight up embarrassment of a team. We as fans deserve better than this and I would give anything for Steinbrenner to go the way of his brother and croak only so that we can get a REAL owner back in here that values winning as much as making money.
This team has shown nothing that says they can compete at an elite level against elite competition. Yea, they can beat the crap outta the Twinkies and Royales with cheese, but against real teams their balls shrink like an Eskimo’s skinny dipping in January.
