Last night's (Sunday, June 27) forecast for today (Monday) for Portland is 118. Brrr, it's cold in my house. You guys with no air conditioning don't know how good you've got it.
Not only that, we pulled up the driveway yesterday and I thought somebody stole our hose…… it fucking melted off the faucet!!!
Its a dry heat! Try New Orleans/Louisville in August. 90 degree day with high humidity is worse than what we are experiencing.
...this is true, I lived in Miami for a year and 95 degrees with 95% humidity is the worst weather I've experienced -- not even the ocean or pools felt refreshing. Right now in Central Oregon (like those in the valley) it was 100-105 by noon today but dry and not nearly as miserable as the heat in Miami.
I used to run 10k's in Louisville annually in August, it started at 6am. Even after showering go outside for 5 minutes and you need to once again.
Power went out an hour ago. The air conditioner got us through the weekend but the repair crew just drove up the hill so that’s a good sign. The wind is strong today at times. It blew my window fan and screen in my loft onto my bed
Doesn't mean I'd advise you to stick your head into that "dry" heat... or walk in it.... I mean, I would to some of you folks on S2, FAMS!

I keep myself away from public and if anyone wants to watch me sleep...my wife would just wonder why the fuck they'd want to do that? Unlike you Lanny I live in a small cabin with a split loft upstairs for sleeping....you'd never be able to get up there in your condition..
