Don't forget Pau Gasol said she once advised a player to throw his bounce passes to a 7 foot tall dude faster and bounce them higher so the guy could catch it. And Pau thought that was brilliant. So that right there is a major endorsement....

Edit: I'm not mocking Becky; I'm mocking Pau Gasol.

If Neil really doesn’t trade anyone significant Dame is gone, I’m on record as hating Neil since 2016. I just want that known:)

Seriously getting vibes of 2015 when we lost Aldridge. I don't think we're that hopeless yet, but next year for sure...

If we get "Robert Covington has been traded for Aaron Nesmith and Tristan Thompson" before the draft ala "Batum for Vonleh and Henderson", while Neil tries to tell is how good Nesmith is, that's when I'll know the end is near.

It seems to me that some people just cherry pick through the post's and don't read everything. I saw your original post about Hammon but I'm too new to know who is credible and who just likes to blow smoke. After reading the report this morning you're cred rep shot way up in my book. I will pay more attention to your post's in the future!

So at what point do you cut your losses? We can't afford to get a bad return on Dame.

Unless you believe Dame is gonna tear his achilles or something, you ride out this season. Are the offers next year going to be worse than the ones this year? (Hint: no)

Do you want me to give you Magic Johnson's career accomplishments? He was a horrible coach. Being a good player means nothing. Michael Jordan has proven to be an AWFUL GM and Owner. The best player of all time is a horrible judge of talent and deals. :dunno:

The only one you listed there that would matter to an NBA team hiring a head coach is the last one, yet Billups has been around the league a lot longer and has experience in a lot more systems. She ain’t ready.

Its encouraging to read that the Blazers intend to surround Billups with experienced assistant coaches. I wonder who he will try and bring along?

The resume gets you the interview, it doesn’t guarantee you the job. Or at least that’s how most jobs work.

Most of that resume has nothing to do with coaching.

none of this is relevant. Completely different league. The players do not find this relatable at all.
I know you disagree, but players don’t give a shit about WNBA credentials. Most don’t even give a shît about foreign credentials.

similarly to how foreign coaches rarely get a look in the nba and are questioned if it will translate. Or players, like Luka, or Rubio etc
