Dame for Brown/Smart/Williams CJ/protected 1st for Simmons Nurk for Myles Turner Resign Powell/Zach Let Melo/Kanter Walk Talk DJJ into opting out Smart/Simons Powell/CJ2 Brown/RoCo/Nas Simmons/RoCo/Zach Turner/Williams/Zach Hope you guys like holding teams to 90 points. We will need to because of the offensive limitations but hopefully Ant and Nas step up. Ideally I’d flip Smart/RoCo for a PG upgrade at next years deadline because I dislike Smart. This is a worst case scenario if Dame forces a trade. I’m getting Jaylen Brown or bust in that scenario.
But Josh Hart would give us greater ability on both ends from the bench. Neil gets major heat for falling in love with his draft picks. Josh Hart is a great role player. Ant is a nice shooter but a total liability on defense, and he's soft. Too nice. Hart is a NO B.S. player
Guys I like that we might be able to get for CJ - and being at least a little bit realistic...I think. PJ Washington (PF) and Rozier for CJ. Demar Derozen for CJ and DJJ Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes for CJ and Collins I would love Dillon Brooks, but dont see any way to get him.
They used to be good, then they changed their menu about 18 months ago and now the fries suck ass other than shoestring rosemary truffle fries. Their burgers and buns just suck now. I don't get it. I love burgerville, but they ruined their menu and it hasn't recovered at all.
Dame's issue with the roster is top end talent. Shuffling the deck with players 4-10 won't do anything to change his mind. Two names to look for: Zach LaVine Bradley Beal Both on the Olympic team. Both in not great situations. Both upgrades over CJ. The two most realistic targets on the Olympic team. Yeah, we would need to give up a kings ransom, plus both are expiring this year. But both are the most realistic top end targets.
CJ/DJJ/2022 1st/2023 swap/2024 first FOR LaVine/Satoransky/Aminu This is the type of deal that would convince Dame to commit now. Of course it could also backfire terribly since LaVine is a free agent at the end of the year.
Lavine is from Seattle...he'd likely love to be here. Have to think of those kinds of things. I just am not sure how they could get him.
LaVine would have to force his way out. No way Chicago wants CJ for younger higher upside LaVine. Now WAS, they might possibly be interested in CJ as Beal and him are similar age, but that's really a lateral or downward move. I still think Simmons is the most realistic target. The question is what do you trade for him? I don't think CJ is enough to get it done. CJ +DJJ opt-in trade, plus a 2022 first-rounder. Does that get it done? I'm loathe to trade Little, and would rather consider another pick though that makes me nervous too. Really it's the 2025 pick we need to keep that's when Dame would be gone potentially.
We give up 2 firsts, and McCollum for Siakim? And Toronto gets all the good stuff lol. Too much, man, too much. Though to be fair I'm not as high on him as others.
