    i felt the same way initially, but upon further thought, what is he supposed to say here? That the roster needs a massive overhaul and we need a ton of help?

    Not sure that's appropriate on numerous levels.

    what else would they say? Yeah we’re looking to trade that guy sitting over there to everyone’s right.

    Im not sure there will a shakeup, but I wouldn’t take anything a GM/coach says before the offseason seriously. Every GM in every sport says the same shit. “We’re happy with our guys blah blah blah.” It’s just noise.

    My gut says the roster won’t change much and they’ll see what Billups can do. If they don’t take the next step they’ll blow it up next summer aka trade CJ.

    Hmm. I feel sorry for his family because they were being used as human shields. It's the old politician's trick. At least his wife didn't have to stand there and listen to questions about affairs he'd just been caught having (see current scandal in Britain).
