Dame has a Toyota dealership.., an Adidas lucrative deal and a Biofreeze deal....he has a lot of financial incentive to remain in the Portland area....he's helped his family members set up local businesses....I don't think he wants to unravel all that gold and leave his beautiful home on the river for a brownstone in Brooklyn nor that he wants to put his 3 kids through the Chigaco school system....Dame is king of the mountain here..I think he'll stay

And then we reach the playoffs and Simmons runs the floor even harder but that's because he doesn't want to touch the ball.

Just a guess, but it seems likely Dame will have the ball, so Simmons can run wherever he wants. And since he's been dealing with double-teams for 9 years because Stotts couldn't figure out how to deal with one, if Simmons defender helps off him, it will be business as usual.

Reminder: Stotts is no longer the coach.
