As far as I know, you are here for a week or so. You gonna need more friends to change this place in blazers edge.
    Lol, PR:)

Stotts was well respected in every respectable news outlet, yet rumor around the league was, we don't have a coach.
Your news outlet will shut the fuck up as soon as we start this winning streak.

A Zen Buddhist would be amused that that is circular and self-reinforcing.

Anyway, yes, the disconnect between ignorant reporters and knowledgeable GMs is that Stotts isn't getting interview offers from GMs.

No risk. No commitment. Worth a shot.

That's probably why I was clapping with one hand for Terry.

There have been many commentary about how great a hire it was for Portland, maybe the way it all came down wasn't great, but the flash mob shows no mercy with anything, you know take no prisoners. In regards the the Beasley signing, teams every year, at this time, are filling rosters for summer league and its not unusual anymore to allow guys that didn't evolve first time another shot.

Stotts is getting paid for 2 years to not coach....if he takes a job he loses free money..I think he wants to retire, not that GMs haven't offered him interviews but he's not traveled or whispered about returning himself since he parted with the team....he's 63....he gets paid from the Blazers until he's 65...why grind out another season and why go to a team that's blown it up....coaching Dame is a hard act to follow so I think Terry will quit while he has a winning record and remain a Portland resident raising his purebred dogs..

I don’t know….that dude can GET BUCKETS. Maybe realizing this could be his last chance, and having somebody like Dame around him could rejuvenate his career like Melo. He is a head case, but I’ll take a guy like that as my 10th man.

Yeah I was just referring to the idea that he is some sort of smokescreen or distraction from the Billups hire. Which I think is clearly not the case. He’s not a big enough name.

Link? Many articles report lists of candidates/interviewees for each team which is looking, and you never see Stotts on a list. If you say he's gotten secret offers, why are the lists non-secret with the exception of him?

Beasley is a really talented player, skilled, could probably step in to a game today and score double digits. Not big on passing or defending. Sound familiar?

Indiana and Orlando offered Terry interviews..nothing secret about it but he's not said anything at all and why would he....he's making 10 million to walk his dogs for two years...he's not desperate to start a new chapter at 63..I looked daily for any whisper of Terry showing intersest in those two jobs I mentioned and he didn't have any content to link. If I get paid 10 million to walk my dogs I'm not moving to Cleveland anytime soon or sleeping in a crappy hotel
