atkinson is reportedly the favorite there and it makes sense. He’s got head coaching experience and a history of player development.
You really think a trainer from a small school like Weber State makes more money than an NBA assistant coach? I find that hard to fathom....he devoted years to a kid in college who didn't have millions to pay for his services....
He was just an assistant coach when he worked with Dame, he was a nobody back then. He now has his own business with numerous NBA clients. His profile is increasing. I’m not his accountant but it’s a safe bet he’s making more than an assistant coach. His trajectory is the Hanlen, Brickley level.
Im sure it will happen soon. Billups is very well networked and knows who can help especially on the D side. I bet he has some really solid coaches interested.
Dave "We are just going to have a one-sided conversation tailored to our narrative and we will silence and censor any other voices. You know, like used to happen to people speaking out...about sexual violence. But silencing here is TOTALLY good. Censorship is your friend and power is to be obeyed, not questioned. We look to philosophical leaders like Joseph Goebbels and the Stasi for visionary leadership in these trying times."
Collins is a relatively fresh assistant but a Stanford guy and they’re pretty smart. Is he a defensive guy or offensive?
Scott Brooks interviewing for Lakers assistant position… that seemingly isn’t open JKidd might be poaching a member of the staff or Lionel Hollins might be coming here… who knows
Exactly! Why on earth would they bring in "La Softy" when this team needs to get tougher and more defensive minded?
