You know what I see there? Someone has to clean that damn pool. I guess if you're rich enough to own that house, you're rich enough for that to not be your problem.

Your not serious are you? Do you know the pool crew I would hire to be a live in crew if I had that type of money?????

I rather come home to that after being on the road than many other places.

I see a lot of people making that assumption, but did the vet-min-ring-chasers sign with the Clips to play with Kawhi or to be in LA? His reputation as a teammate isn't all that great. Even when he's laced up, in the game, and not sulking, he's basically an ISO player. His overall talent and defensive versatility makes up for a lot of that, but I'm not sure guys are lining up to play with him.

They were actually hardcapped the year they S&T Durant for Russell. But you lose your hard-cap status when the new calendar year rolls over.

yeah but Kawhi plus Dame = championship contender. That's why they would come, not to admire Kawhi's outfielder's Mitt-sized hands.

Yup the number one reason I want to be that wealthy is to have access to way more top-shelf...well it starts with a P.

I mean this gal looks like she can handle herself around a Kantian Pure Reason vs the Hegelian Dialectic as a basis for a world view, type discussion. Don't get her started on Hume though and whatever you do, don't bring that weak sauce Philosophy 101 interpretation that Nietsche said give into your base desires because nothing matters. A Sophomoric understanding of Nihilism isn't going to fly with this bad bitch.

Yep, sure wish I had some top-shelf Philosophical conversations on tap.

This thread should be closed. It kills me to even fantasize there is a chance in hell to land Kawhi.

It took half a page for this thread to get so far off the OP and go where a couple of dozen recent threads have gone before.

I think the original point of the thread was to start floating speculation no matter how unlikely of all kinds of star players potentially wanting to move on from their current teams in response to the so-far dubious narrative that Dame wants out of Portland that media and the Twitterverse are running with.

Dame plus any superstar = championship contender, but that hasn't resulted in said championship contender coming here. There's no reason to think, other than blissful ignorance of how unappealing Portland is, that the same wouldn't be true for role players with Kawhi.

The thread that should be closed is the Dame Trades thread. THAT is a crime against humanity.

Why does a vision of the old Ford Explorer blimp crashing into the crowd at Moda come to mind? Oh the humanity!

Unfortunately it'll never happen. We don't get big time free agents.

CJ + Nurkic + pick to Minny for KAT

    Sign Powell

Trade DJJ for a backup PG

    Sign Melo & Kanter

Do not sign Collins (too bad)

Find a rebounding, defensive stud at PF

    Dame + PG
    Powell + Ant + Elleby
    RoCo + Little + Vet
PF stud (like a Crowder) + Melo
    KAT + Kanter + Vet
