Stoked for Damon, he has a great relationship with Udoka and has a had a decent amount of experience with the Grizzlies, Memphis Tigers, Wildcats and since '16 with the Pacific Tigers.

The players seem to really like him and regardless of some personal opinions of people here, he is turning into be a really good coach

If you read the tweet from Powell he is saying his friend needs a HEAD coaching gig also he is the lead assistant under nurse so i doubt he coming to Portland.

What’s stopping them from hiring all 3? Brooks would be a good get as an assistant. I like Hollins too. VDN got kinda shafted with the clippers but he also hasn’t coached in years.

Earl Watson would be someone to consider. He's great with players.

So Joerger turned them down or something? No thx on VDN, I’d take Hollins out of those 3.

Hollins would be ideal. Wouldn’t be disappointed with the other 2 though. Anybody but Fizdale

Was Brown not the lead assistant?

Then we need to make him our lead assistant.

I wonder if the leaking of those three names means Mosley is getting a head job somewhere else. I can’t see him not being a legitimate option if he doesn’t.

Also gut feeling but I bet Hollins has already agreed to be on billups staff. Following Dame and the Blazers on social media doesn’t seem coincidental anymore.

Or not thinking about social media enough to try and hide what he's about to do. The guy seriously may have had a conversation with Chauncey and Neil and knew he was coming here in some capacity so he just hit follow... not a big deal to a 67 year old and definitely not him "using social media" in some sly way.
