Chill. Rasta was asking in the hypothetical scenario that Dame suffered an injury (like Paul George). I think that would motivate management to find a trade ASAP. Going into the tax for a season where Dame isn't playing is a non-starter. So that means not re-signing Powell, not making any moves to try to contend. They (the FO) have probably already internally discussed whether they can build a championship contender with Dame on a supermax. An injury would just make that decision easy for them.
You don't trade a generational talent away. The only team that wins, is the team that receives that generational talent. Talking about, what if's is silly. Enjoy the moment, it's fleeting.
