Yeah I’ve looked at those too. If it happens it’s some teams plan F. I dunno, I’m not optimistic.

Here's the framework. Maybe more to come from CHA. This makes us a lot more balanced.

I think we send at least one first to Indiana. But I like it, a lot.

Not sure how the Hornets feel about Hayward. In this scenario they are getting two expiring contracts. Also maybe hope Indiana has plans on trading Brogdon + 2 firsts for Simmons or something. Brogdon/McCollum has the same issue that Dame/McCollum does.

Also I think Hornets would fight to get Turner instead of Nurkic. Not sure how that will turn out.

Neil would be the first executive of the year based on how it helped the big media market Knicks. Then he could leave podunk Portland for New York who would welcome him with open arms for fleecing Portland.

If Indy is willing to give up Turner and Warren for just CJ, why would we involve the Hornets at all?

cuz Nurk + Turner doesn't work as a combo. I was trying to find someone who would want Nurk.

And i like Hayward much better than Warren.

Nurk has a higher ceiling than Turner. Pass!

    in what universe?

MT is actually younger than Nurk and led the league in blocks while hitting 1.5 threes a game at a very respectable clip.

the only think Nurk has on Turner is his passing, but they're different players.

Nurks potential to be dominant, as he was prior to the injury, is still possible under new coaching. Turner is what he is. He's good, not great. Nurk CAN be great. We've seen it.

Turner is another one of those players that blazer fans overrate because of the seemingly popular theory that everyone that plays for another team is better.

Nurk hasn’t had a PER below 20 since he first got to Portland. Turner hovers around 15 for his career-literally average. Nurk is a much better offensive player, rebounder, screener, and facilitator. Their DBPM was identical. Really the only thing Turner does better is block shots.

One thing I'll call out, Turner has played more games in 5 years than Nurk has played in 7.

turner isn't exactly the picture of perfect health, but the fact that he is actually able to play in more games than nurk is telling.

I really have no use for these perpetually injured players. Nurk, Collins, etc.

Good luck finding bigs that don’t miss time. It’s just part of the position.

    Turner:

Averaging a league-best 3.4 blocks per game, is currently out with a partial tear of his plantar plate in his big toe on his right foot. It’s unclear if he will be back this season. Only seven players since 2000 and three since 2010 have averaged over 3.3 blocks in a season. Hassan Whiteside is the most recent player to do it, averaging 3.7 in 2015-16 with the Heat. Nobody, arguably, in the league right now has better timing when rising to block or alter a shot than Indiana’s 6-foot-11, 250-pounder. All-Stars James Harden and Jaylen Brown, for example, shot a combined 7-of-25 when Turner was the closest defender this season, per Second Spectrum

Not to mention that he is more mobile covering the perimeter on D than Nurk and has been hitting a three a game for the last three seasons which improves spacing. I don't know why people in here were acting like it's a clear call who is better between him and Nurk. Nurk has more skills to draw from but if we're talking about who fits better in the modern game, it's obviously Turner. That being said, he's kind of injury prone, not as much as our guy but it isn't a good thing at all.

Look at the film, he's quicker laterally, faster in straight lines, has better recovery and is just all together both more athletic and smaller.
