This should show Dame it’s possible here at least, now Neil needs to go mortgage the future like Milwaukee did for Jrue.

Is there still a job opening for Darvin Ham? I hope Chauncey is amazing, but how did we not hire this guy if we want a better defensive team?

Bucks squashing the theory that you need a team loaded with superstars to win a championship. They should be the model for Portland. Improve the supporting cast around Dame, commit defensively, and anything’s possible. League has never been more open than it is now.

Only 3rd time in NBA history that a team up 2-0 has choked an NBA finals away in 6 games.

Hopefully this will increase the pressure on Olshey to throw all the chips in this summer.

I'm really happy to see this. Not just because it should be reinforcement to Dame that what he wants to do in Portland is more meaningful that building super teams and chasing rings ... just look at Milwaukee tonight. But also because it's good for basketball, and it's great to see one of the good guys of the game get rewarded and turn in one of the greatest games in NBA Finals history, a performance that always will be Giannis' signature. He stamped his presence on NBA history indelibly tonight, coming back from an injury, some questions in the regular season, the FT shooting woes. And all he does is THAT.

Giannis, Middleton, and Jrue are a BIG reason they're good on defense. 3 elite defenders with length allow for a lot of schemes to work.

Patty C got a chip! Shoutout to the Bucks...they were always my favorite Eastern Conference team and glad to see them win it all!

We have a player like CJ, he's just way way better. What we need to win games like this and to get there is other elite skill sets. Dame is the shot maker that we need and if engaged Norm makes shots too. We don't need CJ.

You have to give it up to Giannis for turning his free throw shooting around. Because of it, he closed it out while everyone looked exhausted.
Yes, good D was played, but man there were a lot of no calls. It cracked me up when they would show the replay and Mark Jackson would say.....that was a clean strip...... when it wasn't even close.

Regardless I am happy for Giannis and the Bucks. Not a CP3 fan but he played great too. How many times was Giannis guarding him one on one in the paint, and even being a foot shorter against the defensive player of the year, he still had no problem getting his shot off?

    Agreed.

Also, I hope this makes Olshey open his eyes that this team needs length at each position with multiple elite defenders.

They probably would have been swept by a healthy Nets team……BUT they built a team good enough to take advantage of that situation

When you construct a team with guys who get injured, though ....
