    No, you're right. Tonight is the time when there will be the most trade talk all year... the only difference between tonight and the trade deadline is teams are on the clock. It sounds like if we're going to make a play for Simmons it's going to be tonight.

    Teams without draft picks have to be active in negotiations on draft day because they can't be outbid by teams with picks. So yeah, it is more likely that we would agree to a trade today than just some random day in the next couple weeks.

    You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but text on a screen is a far less exciting announcement than opening a card, announcing it live, getting to watch the players' (and somtimes teams') reactions and getting a breakdown of the pick all in real time.

    LOL....its funny to me that a GM actually thinks (if true) another GM would be foolish enough to do a deal like that.
    Shit if Simmons can get that imagine what we could get for CJ, should be more than a pic and a average player or two.

    agree, but its like they dont have to trade him as he's under contract and Morey loves hype.
    Simmons imo, wont be traded tonight. It may take RoCo,CJ, Nurk & Ant plus picks to get him?
