Especially that move by Detroit is absurd. They dumped Plumlee as if they are in win now mode.

As I am typing this right now, Boston just dumped Tristan Thompson. LOL

Would hardly call this a dump. Kris Dunn has at least some value.

He makes half as much as Thompson. I think that is pretty clearly the intention of the deal, especially since Dunn didn't play last year.

I call it a "dump" if the team giving up a guy has to add assets. Like Kemba + 16 for Horford. Or Plums + 37 for 57. Boston didn't add anything here.

That's fair. But they didn't need him and they were clearly trying to reduce his salary spot.

I've also been listening to Boston fans come up with trade scenarios to dump his salary for nothing for the past month. I guess this is just what was available considering they didn't want to attach a first to dump him outright.

He's on a MLE deal now, he's a year older, and he just had back surgery. What the hell are you talking about?

he’s on a non tax MLE deal, which is almost double the worth. He also has a player option for the same figure next season So what the hell are YOU talking about?

I didn't realize that you were talking about tax MLE, for which I apologize. But I also was talking about your mother, for which I do not apologize.

Listening to him on the Woj Pod we sound like the exact team Cody Zeller is looking to sign with. Mike Richman mentioned him as well in Locked On Blazers. Would fit a need as a dirty work big man that could spot start when Nurk gets hurt. Likely would sign for the Tax MLE.

Cody is a good player for backup C. If he is willing to sign for only the tax payer MLE i think he would be a good get. Much better than Kanter on D.

Let’s resign Melo and some other Cuse players while we’re at it.

Zeller for the tax MLE would be a great addition.
