That's fair. But they didn't need him and they were clearly trying to reduce his salary spot. I've also been listening to Boston fans come up with trade scenarios to dump his salary for nothing for the past month. I guess this is just what was available considering they didn't want to attach a first to dump him outright.

Listening to him on the Woj Pod we sound like the exact team Cody Zeller is looking to sign with. Mike Richman mentioned him as well in Locked On Blazers. Would fit a need as a dirty work big man that could spot start when Nurk gets hurt. Likely would sign for the Tax MLE.

Cody is a good player for backup C. If he is willing to sign for only the tax payer MLE i think he would be a good get. Much better than Kanter on D.
