    This delay in Powell announcement makes sense if the meeting is still yet to happen and Neil is actually on that flight I posted about earlier. It's scheduled to arrive around 5pm.

    And Norm on IG indicated that he has some FA meeting this evening.

    it doesn't. the only benefit with getting powell for cheaper is a smaller tax burden, and a potentially easier contract to trade away.

    If we're not blowing other offers he has away and if we're not going long term, he could do a one and one with a team that will use him more. If he believes he can get bigger money by not having to share the ball with Dame and CJ.
