The media likes people who "act Presidential." Trump didn't, Cuomo did. Of course, it was just an act when it comes to Cuomo and it always has been. Cuomo is generally a good retail politician and public speaker, but has always had a reputation as a shady dealer and bully in the background. The sexual abuse came as a surprise but not a shock, to me.
Because he publicly and loudly called Trump on his bullshit. That was awesome. I never really liked him though.
Since Republicans are so concerned about sexual harassers, may I presume they will now ask for resignation of Clarence Thomas, Bret Kavanaugh, Madison Cawthorn, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, and withdraw support from Donald Trump? IOKIYAR.
Pandering to the lowest common denominations of the left wing isn’t all that impressive. Democrats and the media did craft a career out of it the last five years or so though.

Cuomo has resigned....good. I've never set foot in NYC and never probably will...hope they put better people in their local govt
I don't think it was pandering as much as covering his own ass. It was still awesome. And again, the talk of Cuomo running for president kind of made me sick.
Tried to copy the link but it didn't work. Last night Rachel Maddow devoted her opening piece to describing how NY lieutenant governor kept following corrupt men. First, a Republican congressman from a heavily Republican district in upstate NY made a campaign ad that was also an apology. He was #4 Republican in House and had covered up a Congressman exchanging nude photos with underage boys working as pages. That guy left office. The #4 guy won re-election narrowly. He decided not to run again and was succeeded by family values married Republican; no family planning, no equal pay, no rights for gays. Family values guy got busted posting beefcake photos of himself on social media, seeking dates with women. That is when she ran for the House seat as moderate Democrat. After one term she ran for lieutenant governor alongside Cuomo. The Republican nominee Carl Palladino was discovered sending extreme porn to large contact list. Maddow said MSNBC had trouble figuring out how to cover the story as the porn was so extreme that even describing it would violate company standards. Meanwhile attorney general got busted on corruption charges and sent to jail. An acting attorney general was appointed, first woman AG in NY. She was succeeded by current AG, second woman and first Black AG. Now Cuomo is on the way out. Lieutenant governor is squeaky clean. Just keeps encountering slimy men.
