Oakland used an aggressive five-run eighth inning on Friday torally for an 8-4 victory over the Angels, who wasted a hugeperformance by Vladimir Guerrero. The 31-year-old Guerrero has homered four times in the first twogames of their series after having gone 30 contests and 124at-bats without a blast. Anaheim's Kelvim Escobar (11-5, 2.87 ERA) looks to put an endhis two-game slide after yielding two runs in eight innings inMonday's 2-0 setback at Seattle.
