What happens when the next hospital is full and the one after that. Good luck having a heart attack in Florida right now. The argument that we want to deny Covid patients who don't get vaccines treatment is a really big strawman argument. As long as we have resources that will never happen. Once we run out of medical resources though then doctors will need to actually make decisions on who needs the care the most, so the whole point is to not get to that point.

What is more probable given our current state? Will a death squad of doctors and politicians start denying Covid patients care as a form of political retribution? Or will our hospitals become over run with infection cases causing a traffic jam for all medical treatments?

Their excuse is the historical hesitancy for vaccines considering what Black people experienced many years ago and killed people. True guinea pigs. What are white people's excuse? When were all these white folks treated so badly that caused them to refuse this particular vaccine? What experience do they have that causes them to refuse?

Vaccines should not be mandated so I agree with him there.

 

Maybe wait till someone tries to mandate vaccines then discuss it then, rather than political theater for freedom points.

Public health and safety should be mandated.

Anyone that want to be in public and does not want to vaccinate should be subject to alternate public health and safety measures - masking and covid tests.

The problem with the political actors is that they object to all of them in the name of freedom, but ignore the freedom of others to go in public without being exposed to life threatening conditions.

This is not a call for freedom, this is entitlement.

 

His job was hazardous ...he was in airplanes all through the covid era....should get a purple heart..I won't be found in a covid tube with strangers flying anywhere until I know the coast is clear to breathe....I'm vaccinated but have heart disease and that's what would do me in if I got the delta vaccinated or not...diabetics have the same risk. Vaccinated I've reduced the chance of infection but there's no guarantee ..I knew that going into this shit.most of .you young folks should not have that problem

The issue with masks is that vaccinated people were allowed to remove them and the unvaxxed were told to use the honor system of keeping theirs on. Which is the most useless thing ever, “honor” and the anti mask crowd. It’s hilarious (almost) they reopened and were like “you can remove mask but if not vaccinated please keep it on” like these dipshits are going to actually do that.

 

The mask has not made a big comeback in Eugene yet...I started wearing mine again in town and not many other people are...unmasked people are gathering like nothing has happened at all.
