Ok, monte got out of it. Nice heads up play by Velasquez and throw by voit to nail Boston runner going to third doing their imitations of the Yankees baserunning. Now lets get some runs

 

TWO good defensive plays by Voit that 1st inning....hmmm, I must have fallen into a worm hole or something.

Sure looked to me like Sanchez could have tagged that second runner out.

 

I looked at it again and the throw was a little too much to the first base side to get him but at least he nailed the guy at first

 

That was close. Voit almost took out sanchez legs. Didn’t look like anyone called that pop up

I think maybe he was out of position...not sure why he chose to catch the ball that far out in front of the plate...then again, Sanchez's decisions on defense has been in question for awhile,

 

Tough play for any catcher...usually an infielder's call.
