"I'll wait until they give me free hotdogs to get the booster"

 

We know this already, but people are idiots.

 

I'm guessing it will be about 50-60% of those vaccinated will still get the booster shots. Could be a problem.

As for Vaccine Passports, I wonder how that will work if you need to be current on your vaccines, or if there's a time your "passport" expires and you have to "renew" it with another shot. They will have to come up with a QR code nationwide or some other way (microchip?) to allow freedom of movement contingent on the vaccine passport.

Good question. I've heard a lot of talk that colleges are struggling with tests. It's probably a fair guess to say it'll be a shit show.

 

How can one check quickly if the vaccine passport is up to date, now that we are in the era of booster shots?

Access can be granted en masse with an RFID microchip, versus manually verifying vaccine status.

 

Kids CAN wear masks if they (& their parents) choose to.

 

Sports doesn't seem to care much about Covid anymore. They may say they do, but stadiums have been full for sporting events for a minute now.

My buddy lives in Germany and he said the way it's being done there is all on an app. You download the app then go to the local Walgreens (or whatever), they verify your ID and status, then you get a code that activates the app. The app itself has a bar code that is scannable.
