that year, in preseason, the Blazers did play a game in Mac Court. I went to it and had great seats. Blazers won, but maybe the best Blazer that night was Moses Malone...and Portland shortly after traded him away
TR was such a fantastic defender. Most people remember him as a Nugget though. Same with Fat Lever, Calvin Natt ( who I met shopping at a Cub Foods here in Denver), and the Packman, Robert Pack. All began their careers in Portland, but found more fame in Denver.
MeJ is dead to me after his embarrassing playoff Performance against Denver. He is basically the same Player since 2016. No improvement. Dame improves every year but this dude stays the same. Fuck off MeJ i'm tired of your ballhog dribble dribble dribble shit
Speaking of Clyde, this game from 1992 against the Celtics came up in my YouTube feed. I remember watching this live. What performances by Bird and Clyde.
Yet you forget about that game 7 of the WC Finals when he put us on his back? look, I think CJ is an incredibly crafty scorer and a top 3 Blazers shooting guard for sure. But, he severely lacks in some departments and would be amazing as a teams 4th best scorer coming off the bench to fill the guard duties.
good list I'd move Matthews up into the CJ/Hollins range but I'm probably giving him some bonus points because of how well he meshed with Dame. I do know that '14-15 Blazer team fell apart after Matthews got hurt. So maybe, the kind of glue Matthews brought to the floor is underrated
Not a huge fan of CJ's defense, but that's just unfair. Sure, the first clip was rough, but the second one was him attempting to contest a dunk on a fast break, and the third one was just a fantastic pass.
not gonna lie, this gets me HYPED. i'm really hoping he has a career year. also super excited to see what Chauncey can do.
