And he denied it, rather vociferously. Now, you can say he's in error but you cannot say he's telling a lie because he clearly believes what he says. People in here, especially, the regulars, do not lie. They may tell untruths but a lie is a knowing untruth and this is rare as hens' teeth.
CRT is a highly debatable and lightening rod topic. To be honest, I really haven't entirely wrapped my head around the issue because there are pros and cons coming from every conceivable position. I absolutely agree that the racist travesties and tragedies of our nation's history should be remembered, studied, and lamented in our schools. I also agree that we should all be progressively working hard to find solutions, which is one of the reasons I financially support the efforts of the Woodson Center. I've cited them many times in here, but, as far as I can remember, I've yet to have a constructive conversation with anyone regarding the great work they're doing - not just in our schools, but in society in general.
