but do you not see the counter point? If you cant answer that, then how can you answer if the masks help at all?

see this is where some of us maintain a position that not everything has been figured out and most people are basing thier opinions, they assert as facts, without having all the data.

so how can it be okay one way but not the other? Unless its because thats your opinion?

 

Batman, Robin, Zorro and other crime fighters never complain about masks....come to think of it...Jim Carey made a fortune from wearing one....no big deal....people breath in and out at games and the virus can be transmitted from vaccinated people through the air....vaxed person one gives it to vax person two and vaxed person two leaves the game and breathes the virus out into an unsuspecting public....it's a simple precaustion to use protective gear until we are out of the woods on spiking cases...we never should have dropped the mask mandate after people got vaccinated to begin with...it doesn't really change your experience as an audience member to wear a mask.

 

This hasn't even been a bad year for smoke except a day or two over here.

 

It's NOT an opinion that masks have a non-zero impact in protecting people. It's also NOT an opinion that masks + vaccinations help stop the spread more than vaccines alone.

None of this is based on opinion. It's facts.

There is no counter to this and it's the kinda bullshit I have no patience for anymore. It's been a year+ of this garbage and I've had multiple people in my circle face this disease in the worst way. If you can't understand the basics, feel free to give up your tickets and stick to watching games on TV.

 

Actually I've read that the J&J booster is extremely effective at triggering your body's antibody response. Possibly even more so than the Moderna or Pfizer boosters although that is speculation on my part.

The Catholic Church alone provides over 200 billion in aid annually in the US alone, that’s just one religion. I’m sure all the various christian organizations combined probably rival that number. This aid isn’t only provided to church members, in fact most of it is given outside the church. Islamic religions also give massive charitable contributions worldwide. For comparison, the US budget for food stamps is around 6 billion annually. Also, try to find a philanthropist that comes close to those numbers.
Stupid religious types almost singlehandedly care for the needy around the world, I don’t know if I’d call that shitting on people and being inclusive.

 

Look at the way New Zealand has dealt with the virus and successfully contained it...Taiwan as well...one unmasked businessman sent the country from zero cases to hundreds a day...back to masks...look at the SARS epidemic and how effective masks were and not only that...see how surgeons and nurses wear them at work all the time and have for protection...masks work...vaccinations work....hand washing and not touching your face works....it's really common sense protocol and has nothing to do with American political stubborness

How do you have the patience to rehash this year long pseudo debate about mask effectiveness yet again? Like we need to go over why it's helpful to protect one's spittle from reaching others while they're screaming again? If people don't have the common sense for that or understand the Blazers' reasoning for instituting it, there's no point in rehashing it.

The question wasnt whether masks work.

The question is if everyone is vaccinated or has a negative test result within 72 hours, will the masks help at all? What are the odds of a breakout with everyone either masked or negative? If the percent is near nill then what help does wearing a mask do once everyone is wither vaccinated or negative?

Lets stay on track here and not try to belittle others based on a false equivalence.

You're creating hypothetical situations like you often tend to and then are demanding answers to them as if it proves anything at all. What are the odds? Who knows. I like the lesser odds of it happening, though, if everyone has a mask on.
