    1. Love Lake Billy Chinook

    2. With all the smoke and your mohawk you look like a boating version of Mad Max.

Was my first time there. Was super fun place and will definitely be back next year.
The smoke made everything fairly hazy, but it wasn't too bad on the lake, and we were still able to view some of the meteor shower Thursday night.

i've been wanting to go to Cabo for a long weekend, but didn't want to deal with the logistics behind covid testing before returning. Is it difficult?

That's holding me back from international travels right now. I don't wanna be stuck somewhere if the test turns positive for god knows whatever reason.

Nah there’s places you can walk up and get tested and get the results within an hour. I think it costs 20-30 dollars. Some hotels (the nicer ones) offer it too

I think they don’t want that to defer people from coming so they are trying to make it easy. I’m just more anxious for my nose. I can’t stand that test lol

not gonna lie I am a little anxious of testing positive and not being able to return..but covid numbers in Cabo are low and I’ve only made out with 20 girls

some ridiculous flight deals to Cabo/Cancun going on right now and I haven't gone on a real vacation since Jan 2020. Have an itchy trigger finger, but unknowingly testing positive while outside the country, or scrambling to find a testing location that returns PCR results w/in 72 hours is just a hassle I don't want to deal with. I've gotten sorta over the anxiety of flying domestically but it would be annoying to deal with all the paperwork and costs internationally.

Yeah, getting married in 2 months but probably holding off on the Honeymoon until next Spring (probably European destinations). May try to do a quick London trip in December for the Christmas markets, etc if things are a bit normalized.

Good to know-- i need to do some research. These <$300 RT fares and priceline hotel deals are seriously enticing.

I've been tested like 5 times in the past year and it's a pain for sure.

I recently did a throat swab rather than a nose swab for my test which was required before my surgery.

unfortunately I think the only ones that the USA accept are nose swabs.

Nope, not in cases like mine. Mine was done by and accepted by a huge governmental organization, the VA. I have a medical reason for not being able to do the nose swab.

well I wonder how that would be if you tried to return to the USA. It would be pretty complicated to get an exemption.

The USA immigration policy requires an PCR or antigen test to return which are done with a nasal swab

I've got an exemption from the VA. Making me do the nose swab would endanger my life. Is this too difficult to process?
The VA test before all surgeries also requires a nasal swab but it was waived in my case for a medical reason.
    Now, can we move on?

So planning my honeymoon, maybe next spring.

I'd like to do at least Barcelona and somewhere else. I'm debating to go to the South of France or the Amalfi Coast. The thing is, we were just in Italy last year, so France may be more interesting. Was thinking Marseilles, Nice and Monaco.

    Anyone been?
