They are also less likely to become symptomatic and while asymptomatic infections are contagious because there is no coughing, sneezing and other behaviors that push larger viral loads into the air and into direct contact with others, they are far less contagious. Still, if you're in doors in public... I just don't see what the big deal is about putting a mask on... just fucking do it.

What are you fussing about? Pretty sure the mask mandate will include the usual exceptions that let you not wear one when you're eating or drinking. So buy yourself the usual 10 beers and a hot dog and you won't have to wear one hardly at all.

Nah, I just won't go as it won't be as enjoyable to me personally.

Not a big deal to miss a live game, just a personal preference not to wear a mask if I can avoid it.

I'll catch the games on TV.....maybe.

I get that. I doubt that the mask mandate will last too long. If the delta variant surge follows the pattern it has elsewhere, it will peak sometime next month and then die back in a couple of months.

But again, why not just ban unvaccinated people altogether? Why even let them in both a negative covid test?

Fall/Winter is coming. The virus will probably spread more with indoor gatherings, etc.

Could be. All of those rug rats hitting the back-to-school petri dishes is bound to spread it, but more people are getting vaxxed all the time and a bunch are getting the disease itself. Only so much human cordwood for the delta fire.

yeah...the thing about the vaccination card is how many people got theirs from a homeless camp for a bottle of cheap whiskey...I don't trust people to tell the truth or be honest about their status pretty much...I'd wear a mask whether they required it or not

QR code verification. Mine has a QR code. The thing is, the vaccines will "wear out" and you'll need to renew them. Best to do this now so they are all up to date.

Simple paper vaccine that anyone can fake is worthless and time consuming. They should be scannable.

Im torn. In no way do i want to harm others but to start denying things to people who arent vaxxed is not right.
    Throw out the constitution.

The vax has had issues and i completely understand some people being hesitant or not getting it due to all the mixed messages, fake news, etc.

    Whats next? No grocery shopping?
Im just saying you ban it here it wont make sense unless unvaxxed are banned everywhere.

and thats simply not realistic or fair.

The unvaxxed are not a protected minority. Nor should they be. The constitution doesn't apply to private businesses in this case.

im not saying they are. My point more so is it woukd be ridiculius to see a venue, private or public mandate vax only allowed when other venues arent.
But if they all did, unvaxxed people wouldnt be able to do anything at all and that is not fair considering it isnt a law to be vaxxed.
Sure private business can do what they want and watch their business/sales diminish because of it.
Im fully vaxxed ut if i see a venue do that i will not give them my money or support.

    we all have choices.

How is it not "fair"? And what does fair have to do with it anyways? Again, privater companies that are looking after the best interest of their customers and more importantly their staff. Anti-vaxx isn't constitutionally protected. The free market can I guess decide if there's enough anti-vaxxers to "cancel" the pro-vax businesses.

its not fair because its not a law. But life isnt fair.
I get your point and agree. Private business have the roght to do as they please.

now to breakdown what i mean by not fair and ridiculous is, lets say jacks next door to the moda doesnt have the same mandate. What good is enforcing it at the game if the same people will go next door to a nonenforced establishment and spread it?

i think the key to winong over peole suspect is have some consitency.
Kate Brown fucked this all up by allowing. cHurches to congregate but not schools, etc.

There has not been any consistency to win over the concerned peoples faith.

So i see why some people are against the vax.

shits been bungled many times and people have doubts and question the decision making because of the lack of consistency.

there are many factors in it not being fair and again thats life, but people are going to react and push back on this lack of consistency and thats the bottom line.

People are fully within their rights to question things without ridicule, scrutiny or a banning.

But because that hasn't been acceptable to some who say shut up, fail in line, dont question a thing…we now have what we have.

I never thought so many people can get so heated and turn downright rude, by concerned people asking questions and looking for answers before they just… abide like sheep.

Shit. Isnt science based on questioning what we know?

Some people question because of a perceived lack of consistency. Others question because of Trump. Or because of Q. Or because of a friend on facebook. Or some other bullshit.
People are in their right to question something. If they then refuse to listen to many or all of the answers they seek, then they can stand for all the ridicule that comes their way.
Outright refusal under the guise of "just asking questions" isn't innocent.
People aren't losing rights be being banned. It's not a constitutional right to go to a basketball game. And denial because of vaccine status isn't protected.

I mean, kind of? Usually it's questioning what we don't know. But, most science...trusts the science. Not social media scare.
