There are so many that I'd have to make a list of a hundred or so. One comes immediately to mind and that's Cary Grant's, I Was a Male War Bride, one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. No, Man's Favorite Sport with Rock Hudson was probably just as funny.
I think I'll watch the remake of The Italian Job this evening. First of all, I have a mini-crush on Charlize Theron (sorry, honey!) and secondly, I love all those jacked-up Mini Coopers tearing thru Venice and LA! Really good actors. I mean, who doesn't love Edward Norton?!! (others: Mark Wahlberg; Donald Sutherland; Yasiin Bey (Mos Def); Jason Statham; Seth Green)
A basketball site and no one mentions “White Men Can’t Jump”? There’s action, comedy, even a prime Rosie Perez nip slip. What more can one ask for?
Forbidden Planet - The most exciting science fiction I've ever seen. Even thought it's an oldie it's still good to this day. Like science fictions? See this one.
Had to watch that one junior year of HS and HATED it ... I've pondered going back and rewatching to see if I appreciate it more now but never have.
Gotta agree with: A Few Good Men Shawshank Redemption Schindler's List and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest But there are probably several hundred others just as good: The Big Country Forbidden Planet El Cid Saving Private Ryan Dr. No From Russia with Love The Grapes of Wrath The Pink Panther Animal House The Blues Brothers 2001 a Space Odyssey North by North West Hud To Kill a Mocking Bird The Searchers Lawrence of Arabia Glory The Equalizer Carbon Copy High Noon Spartacus Seven Days in May etc. etc. etc.
Add to that: The Great Escape The Blues Brothers Airplane Police Squad Casablanca Lord Jim Man's Favorite Sport Send Me No Flowers Giant Pillow Talk Magnificent Obsession Picnic Gone With the Wind Oklahoma South Pacific My Fair Lady The Gold Rush Three Stooges (watch this hilarious skit) https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/...5a24da0764dad2bfc03679a6179eae72&action=click
And add to that: One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest North West Passage Saboteur Last Night The Terminator Predator They keep popping into my head.
You into to Alfred Hitchcock? Vertigo and Rear Window are great, but North by Northwest is my favorite.
North by North West is one of my all time favorites. I can't believe I didn't include it in one of my lists.
