Gifts to the public can be more than just cash. There's meals on wheels, habitat for humanity and a million other forms. Our church is always giving food, shelter and items of assistance such as tents and sleeping bags.
Churches tend to give more than they take.

Hey, it's what most of us use at least casually for some form of non chaotic form of discourse in here. If you want to speak gibberish, that's your right but don't expect people to accept it and not comment on it or not expect them to refuse to discuss it with you.
Who wants to talk without some sort of rules?

Science isn't just biology and chemistry. At the time he is ignoring "your" science, you are completely ignoring sociology, sociotechnics and history. And probably mathematic at some point.

I wonder how much physical division or migration certain mandates will cause? It seems there are always going to be places leaning one way or another. Are people who can’t work in cities going to move to red states? And are people who are more worried about covid going to flee to cities where the regulations better fit their ideologies? Most people have always been able to set politics aside enough to live wherever, even if they are outnumbered. But if you can’t make a living, you probably gotta pack up and leave I would think.

At a certain point you'd think (once most people in blue states are vaccinated and hospitals are no longer full) red states would catch on.

Problem is blue states aren't monolithic, especially high population and geographically large. California is very blue. Bay Area highly vaccinated and cases low but northeast corner and central valley have low vaccination rates and overflowing hospitals. My understanding is Oregon in similar situation.

That’s sort of what I’m getting at. Red states aren’t monolithic either, it’s true much of the vaccination opinion coincides with politics, but not completely. There are liberal hippies who don’t takes shots, and there are elderly conservatives who get vaccinated for everything. The vaccination rates are petering out and I don’t really see another wave of vaccination taking place, though. Once those in power realize vaccination has stagnated I’m curious what comes next. Certainly there will be some kind of shakeup. People aren’t just going to lose their jobs and decide to be homeless. They will find work elsewhere, which may be far away.
