Voit with a 2 run single...and DJ just looks slow...but he's 6'4" and like Gallo who is 6'5" they may appear otherwise, neither is a sloth on the base paths.

Does it seem to you like LeMahieu is running a little slower than normal? He's the kind of gamer as a player who we will never hear if he's nursing an injury. Maybe he's just decoying, cuz he's got after burners, all 4 Yankees Big Guys can Fly.

I'm a bit worried about LeMahieu, though I'm sure there's no reason to worry

    Bottom of the 3rd.
    Cole strikes Mayfield out, #5

I cannot stand that stupid fking look on Shoehorn's face!

Cole strikes out "stupid fking look" Shoehorn for K-#6. Ohtani did not even come close!!

If Cole can pitch a complete game he will have 18 strikeouts!

Odor drag bunts for a base hit. Something I'm not seen in a while drag bunts.
Nobody did it better than Lou Brock...

Cole strikes out the side, 9 strikeouts, thru 4 IP, on a pace to strike out 18 plus for a complete game.

It's hard to believe Voit was not intentionally hit in the ribs by Wahhntz.

Even Gooby Gubicza said & thinks so! Use some rosin asshole! Last thing the Yankees need is another key player on the IL.

Wash Wantz replaced on the mound.
Gallo grounds out. His batting average as a Yankee is .140
Over the last 15 games the gallows man (Gallo) his batting average is .106

Gallo leads the AL with 176 strikeouts.
He also leads the league in base on balls with 99.
He's been in the top three for strikeouts over four seasons.
He's been in the top 10 for bases on balls in a couple of seasons

Gallo has one gold glove and his capable of several more.

The Yankees will have him next year. When he was first signed I was pissed off, because he does not make contact with regularity. Yet he has a pretty good on base percentage over the years

I actually look forward to seeing him in pinstripes next year. I have faith he can turn his game around. With a lot of work in the batter's box and with batting practice, if Gallo can only become familiar with that short porch in right field in Yankee Stadium he could easily come around. I sure hope so I would like to see him succeed. Even though he is the brunt of my anger at times I want to see the boy succeed!!!

I wish Lou Pinella were 20 years younger. He is one of the few coaches managers that doubled as an outstanding hitting instructor. I have no doubt Pinella could turn Gallo around, but sweet Lou's fighting for his life with Cancer.

I had my 4th year follow-up with my Oncologist today. I am Free of Cancer, one of few Renal Cell Carcinoma survivor's. It came with a steep price, and the loss of 1/2 of 1 Kidney.

    Bottom of 6th-
Walsh who was 1 for 16 with 10 K's vs Cole, it's a double to the wall driving in one run for the Halos.

    Cole thru 6-IP / 13 K's / 4 Hits

Cole has Shoehorn's number striking out Ohtani for the 3rd time tonight on an outside 99 mph Fastball tailing way!!
    :clap: :blazerwookie::smiley-smiley-049::notworthy2::notworthy::smiley-bowdown::smiley-brasno::smiley-bowdown:

    Walsh K's for #13
Got to love those 99mph fastballs tailing away outside to left-handed hitters. King Cole Hooyah

If the offense could only match King Cole's output this game would be 13 to 1.

Cole walks up to Boone in The dugout and tells him he's good to go, he is not done with this game! We've waited a long time for a picture of Cole's caliber. A true gamer, the definition of a gamer!
