Personally, I think the Patriots are done. Last season, everybody figured the Patriots were primed to repeat and win their third title in four years because it was obvious that they were marching a better team onto the field with the addition of Corey Dillon, who solved their ONLY problem (the ground game)...But this year, its clear that the Patriots are a worse team. Ty Law looks like he's heading for Detroit, but certainly not back to New England, and even though they played well without him...the loss of him entirely hurts...Not to mention Teddy Bruschi whose decided to sit out the season after having a stroke...which we can all agree is the smart move for him (get well Teddy)...but certainly not a move that helps the Patriots...With that said, that leaves the AFC with a few superbowl candidates... Pittsburgh and Indianpolis...but lets not leave out a couple potential sleepers in Baltimore and Kansas City, who, if either can correct the side of the ball they are known to struggle (offense and defense respectively) are right in the superbowl hunt...Personally, I think its Indianapolis' year... They bring back an offense identical to last years...only, better when you consider Reggie Wayne will improve, and Manning hasn't reached his peak...They drafted 7 defensive players in 7 rounds...I just think its their time. For too long has Peyton Manning struggled against New England in cold weather conditions...the two players that come to mind the most in his demise are undoubtably Ty Law and Teddy Bruschi, and as I've said...they're not going to be playing for NE this season...Yep...soon the "CUT THAT MEAT" chants will be sanonamous with all of America...when PM#18 hoists that American Football Conference Championship in late JanuaryPEACE

And Ty Law is on the Jets. And everyone on NFL CENTRAL keep saying the Pats are done, please do. Talk to me later Gates, really please do.

Their past doesnt make the future as good or better.Personally I think they are done because they arent just the team they were and there are ALOT of competitiors coming out of the AFC.Ravens,Colts, and the Steelers just to name a few.

I personally think that the Patriots are done. Who cares is the won 3 out of 4 Super Bowls. They aren't going to win every Super Bowl forever, it has to end sometime.I think that it will be the Colts in the Super Bowl next year and the Ravens, Jets, and Steelers right behind them.

Mark my words. Chiefs will not make the playoffs and IF they do, they wont make it past Round 1.Pats vs Steelers AFC Championship Game--PIT wins

^ That sounds good and right to me. I think the pats might still make it even with there losses. They're still picking up new players as we speak, and they have Brady. He'll probably do some miracle stuff anyway for them to make it again. Damn I hate the patriots. And it's about time the Steelers made it to the Super Bowl.

You guys have to be optimistic...there are teams that could make a jump. I don't think anyone expected the steelers to be as good as they were last year. Seriously... The Chiefs are a damn good team, In my opinion are as good as the steelers. If you feel diferently, PM and we will talk....

We can talk about that if you want. The chiefs ARE a pretty damn good team. They are also I team that I like. I have nothing against them. And we'll see who has the better season. You never know what'll happen.

Why are you all sleeping on the Chargers? I mean seriously we got Jets, Ravens, Chiefs but where are the Chargers? They are better than any of those three teams in my opinion. Though I don't think they will win the AFC Championship and am still not certain they will even make it to the game they are still gonna go better than any of those three teams I strongly believe.Anyways I feel the Steelers will win the AFC, Ben Roethlisberger is going into his second season and I expect him to improve on what was already a great season. They should have one of the best ground attacks and so he won't even need to throw that much anyways, but when he does he has Hines Ward to throw to. They may have lost Plaxico but he missed 5 games last season and the Steelers played fine in them anyways. Antwaan Randle El impresses me and I think they won't have much problems on the offensive side of the ball. Then defensively we already know what they can do.

Why does everyone love the Ravens? They signed Mason and Rolle whoa big deal. Really, I don't see how the Ravens are even metioned a contender in the AFC. The only true contenders in the AFC are the Patriots, Steelers, Colts, Jets. (period) and in that order.
