My friend used to live in a house where alot of eerie things would happen. The previous owners had a young daughter who was struck and killed by a car right out front of the home. He had an old tv that would always turn on an off, which was somewhat creepy but could easily be explained away. The most disturbing thing was strings being plucked on his guitar in the middle of the night while it was sitting in a guitar stand in the corner of the room.
You cant stop there. It had red eyes, then what????? LOL Would you believe me if I said it happened while watching the damned movie???? Chris, I think I told you this already, but the pool house? The upstairs bathroom had a full on wall mounted medicine cabinet with mirrored doors, etc. Alisha and I were watching paranormal activity three and in the middle of the movie, we heard a loud crash. the cats were still kittens, so we had to keep the bathroom doors closed, so they didn't tear up the TP. As we looked around the house trying to find out what happened. I finally opened the main bathroom door and found the medicine cabinet in pcs on the floor. After inspecting, it was bolted to the studs! the screw bolts were broke off. How the hell does that happen right when we are watching that movie???? Lol. Damn yeah whats the odds. Maybe the bolts had rusted through or the weight finally gave in an aging wall? Like I said, I turned my head and watched it walk out of the bathroom facing a wall to my right. It walked or moved to the center of the room and stopped, as if it realized I was there. It turned its whole body which was wispy like dark smoke swirling about, but in human form...I guess a shadow figure. We looked at each other for what seemed a while. It almost seemed like it was curious. And then it, almost like it shrugged turned back the way it was going and continued across the living room and disappeared into the wall. I got up and turned the lights on and checked around. Never saw it again. The friend who's place I was at lived in the same complex I did. I never saw anything in my apartment. I did often feel a presence at the top of the stairs watching me go down. I would often run down and turn and yell that I knew something or someone was there.
I sleep on the left side of the bed, my wife sleeps on the right. As such, my left arm is next to her right arm. One morning I woke up and had a small, deep puncture wound on top of my left wrist. Weird. I showed it to my wife. She had the exact same puncture wound in the exact same spot on her right wrist. Weirder! Neither of us had any memory of being woken up by anything that night, let alone something that could cause such a deep puncture. WTF? Please explain that @Lanny!
We moved into a brand new house, in a new development about 3 years ago. My wife comes from a Catholic family and has some crosses and pictures of the Virgin Mary hanging on her side of our bedroom. One night we are upstairs in the office talking and hear a loud noise downstairs in the area of the kitchen or master bedroom. I assume some plates or something else fell in the kitchen as they were being air dried. We went down to inspect and all four of the religious items were knocked off the wall but that was all that was knocked off. Fast forward about a year and we've got a dog at this point. I'm in the bedroom watching the first Paranormal Activity one night and the wife is asleep, so it's just me and the dog. The first time the demon makes it's presence known in the movie, our dog lifts her head and stares intently at the bedroom door that is open to the living room and growls a little. I figure nothing of it and she puts her head down and goes back to relaxing. The next time the demon is felt in the movie, she lifts her head again, stares at the doorway and growls a little. I pick up on it this time. She continued to do that every time the demon was felt in the movie and only when it was felt in the movie before I finally turned it off. Had another experience where I was in the shower and the wife was upstairs working on her doctorates in the office. I heard a bang while in the shower and called out to her to see if she fell or something but didn't hear her say a word. I turn off the water, get out and the dresser draws in our bedroom were all opened. I called out to the wife who was still upstairs and had not come down at any point while I was in the shower. I know Laredo has a bunch of ghost stories and I have others from my time here. I've never actually seen anything like a ghostly figure with red eyes but I've felt like something is there enough to believe in these things.
As my grandmother used to say, it must have been gremlins. No, I don't believe in paranormal things, not even one iota. I believe in science, that's what I believe in.
I keep it covered in the daytime. I only uncover it at night. What are you doing looking at my front door close up late at night?
This would explain why all my farm animals look so pale they're almost white. But it doesn't explain why my farm animals are so nervous whenever Sly comes over for a visit.
