What would you post? (and this is from a guy who played competitive soccer for 25 years) "In the 79th minute some guy finally scored a goal and his team won 1-0."
Yes, if you glance at the internet you'll find that nobody has anything to say about "soccer". Just a glaring absence of words on the subject.
Isn't that what, y'know, FOOTBALL FORUMS are for? I mean, I'm not a thread purist, but I could not be less interested in American Football. Imagine the forum cluttered up with threads about trainspotting or something. [Warming to the subject] I mean, isn't it clear that American "Football" (Handegg?) is solely a product designed by advertisers? I don't mind watching about 1 minute of highlights (I guess), but the actual games are INTERMINABLE. You get 4 seconds of actual action surrounded by what seems like an hour of reshuffling. If you're going to infest this forum with a different sport that I don't care about, I guess go with Ice Hockey. At least there's a flow to that game. My only complaint is I can't see the fucking puck.
Good to see Ty Thompson get some reps. Didn't watch the game, don't have Pac-12. But saw the highlights. How did Thompson look overall? Obviously a win over Stony Brook won't swing any opinions east of the Mississippi, but it's a good win. Ducks need to take on that "chip" mentality and make the East Coast Media sad. Go Ducks! Good win for Beavs too.
I thought he look decent for a true freshman. Seemed confident and was pretty accurate when he did sling it.
What up with that 68-yard field goal attempt to close the half? Bad decision by Kliff Kingsbury. I mean, AZ still won, but the play couldn’t have gone any worse for AZ and resulted in the longest yardage play in NFL history.
Brady: with about a minute go he has 400+ yards and 0 TDs. That's amazing - in a bad way! Edit: HA! I post that and he throws for a score! My reverse jinx lives!
