The thing is at its root politics have nothing to do with a women's choice. Politics only have come into hand because of the interference of men who wish to thwart that choice

the problem is why men wish to thwart the choice. Is it bad to think that an unborn embryo that has no choice should be protected against humans who already had a choice? Why does any man against abortion automatically equate to them wanting to hold women back? Thats a bullshit narrative. its an opinion of belief. It has nothing to do with thinking less or trying to suppress women. Again m if men had babies id be against abortion. This narrative that people Agaisnt abortion are against womens rights and equality is not accurate and frankly ridiculous in most cases in my opinion. I love my sister. She almost had an abortion. I wouldn't have tried to stop her but i certainly told her how i felt, it was wrong. She listened to what i said and had the child and he is now 11 years old and i asked her about it last year. She is soooo happy she isn't have an abortion. It isn't as black and white as some people like to mKe it out to be.
But if you present an opinion that men's rights are being ignored, and that they should have a say, an equal say, in the pregnancy, that is "forcing" something on the woman.
The point is your opinion, my opinion, the opinion of men in this matter are irrelevant because a woman's body is a woman's choice. You were hurt by what crandc said. OK. As a women she is angry and she should be. Not at you directly, but at men in general who continue to question a woman's right to her body. Anyone who says they are against abortion is going to get lumped into that anger because they aren't seeing the bigger picture. I don't like that women find themselves in a position to have to abort their baby. I think it should be a last resort. Give the baby up for adoption if it will be born healthy. I understand abortions in the case of rape or defects. But, guess what my opinion doesn't matter because it's not my choice. I don't take that personally. Crandc could be angry at me for my opinions on the matter. She would be welcome too. It is her place to protect the right to her body and fight against any thought that goes against that. She has a right to take it personally. If men were the ones that had babies, abortion would be legal everywhere and it would probably occur a lot more.
When this country started women were the property of men. They have had to fight hundreds of years for equal rights. You wonder why there is such a fuss when one of their greatest rights is being threatened. An inalienable right by the way.
I don't think so. Most of that is what Crandc responded to. Look at the time stamps. Her being offended is well within reason to me. And those statements deserve to be called out. You supported stricter abortion laws and minimized the suffering of pregnant women before she said anything about you. You may not think that's a big deal, but I do.
I believe when choices are involved, opinions do matter. It's certainly one reason I advocate for more education on the subject. Just because abortion is available, doesn't necessarily mean it's the best choice.
I believe in more education for everyone across most subjects. Why? Well, look at the state of our country. So much lack of education, so much mis-education. Pretty generic statement, I know. But I stand behind it.
