So in 18-19, and 20-21 he didn't spend 2 million, but did in 19-20, and the 4 months off played no role? Father time is undefeated.
I have no patience for stupidity anymore. Look at these morons make false equivalencies and propagate nonsense.
Nobody is saying that it isn’t. That 18-19 season, they weren’t even on track to make the playoffs right. Worth a bunch of those young’s kids on the roster. He wasn’t about to be out there battening for nothing. Just cracks me up when people don’t acknowledge Bron’s greatness. Of course he will slow down eventually, but he is a beast.
I'd pick both Phoenix and Utah over us. Denver I might pick over us. It's not as though I'm a blind homer saying we win most games and are favorites. I wrote logical reasons why the Lakers will disappoint. We will see if Westbrook is a key 3rd player or not in a few weeks. Lakers and Dallas are toss ups against us. Clippers and Golden state are below us. But no way should the Lakers be considered huge favorites in the west as many are crowning them.
Yes he has been a beast. But so are Luka, Dame, Curry, Mitchell, Jokic, Giannis, Durant, Harden, Butler, Tatum, Embiid. Those teams have better balance and help on the roster than LeBron's Lakers. LeBron isn't a dominant MVP like he was a decade ago where he can carry a team to the finals. He needs help and now the Lakers have difficult to play with Russell Westbrook along a bunch of minimum salary flawed players. It won't work over 82 games. If LeBron and Davis are 100% in the playoffs the Lakes will be a very tough out. But a 37 year old guy dominating in a grueling 82 game regular season, which he hasn't played in 4 years? That is beyond unlikely to happen.
All the blind Lakers title favorites fanboys remind me of Kobe fans after the Achilles injury. Just delusional to what age, depth, and NBA competition mean to a successful basketball team.
With Kawhi probably out for the regular season and maybe the whole year, why is it a stretch to see the Blazers finishing above the Clips?
No Kawhi for the season. Paul George is the only player in the top 100 on their roster, the Blazers have 6.
Having a 6 month old child is a reason Wiggins SHOULD get the vaccine. That NBA players would fuel lies about the risks of this is ridiculous.
We will just have to agree to disagree with the amount of talent on our current Trail Blazers roster. We battle for the 8th spot with 41 wins is how I see it.
I thought we were talking about whether the Blazers will finish ahead of the Clippers. What part of this lineup, other than Paul George, do you find intimidating?
I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers even fall out of the playin. Sacramento, Minnesota, and Memphis have similar talent. New Orleans has a much better second best player with Zion and Ingram. San Antonio has less talent but with Pop maybe could be a surprise to play good defense, play hard, share the ball unselfishly, and sneak into the play in. I would pick the Clippers above all those teams, but without Kawhi all season they are closer to that group of lower teams than contending in the west. Yes I know they won against the Jazz. But getting hot for a couple playoff games against one opponent is very different than being good over 82 games.
