How you know Nas is injury prone is the guy barley has minutes under his career and still finds himself always hurt.. Don’t count on him
They used "rest" as the reason for Dame. Its possible it could be very minor hamstring issue and he would be active in a regular season game. I agree with others, Hamstring isn't something you want to see as even a minor injury though.
Its just rest. Jokic is playing every other game too. Plus the coaching staff wants to see what they have with the rest of the team. It's about evaluation, not wins.
The season starts in 9 days against the same team. My guess is they want to give Chriss, Smith, and Patterson some major minutes tonight before releasing 2-3 of them so they can catch on somewhere else. I was not impressed with Chriss's last game. Hopefully, with some major minutes, he can show more. We need a big.
my theory based on nothing but a feeling is that smith has already made the team and they’re gonna let the rest showcase for other teams before cutting them.
its gonna be dennis smith jr, its not official, but they know it already chauncey billups spoke about him days ago, it sounded like hes going to be part of the rotation
These are guys who couldn't even get a vets' minimum contract. It would be a nice surprise if they weren't terrible!
Simons looks significantly better. If he plays like this in the regular season he pretty much forces a decision. CJ or Simons. Those are our best trade assets, so pick one and trade the other.
It kind of depends on who we are trading for since there is about a 25 million dollar difference in their 2 salaries.
The idea of dealing CJ and going with Dame/Powell, Smith/Simons guard rotation is sounding better and better to me.
