<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Elevation @ Aug 21 2005, 08:33 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'>[10]Santana Moss{Redskins}</div> He isnt even worthy of Top 10 WR Consideration. This is coming from a Jets fan, ive seen every single game of his professional career and he is not a top 10 WR. He is scared to play football to the top of his ability. He never fights for the extra yard and will drive Washington fans insane with his running out of bounds. I think he is scared that he is going to re-tear his hamstring becuase he is always injured with it and usually 'plays' hurt. The quotetation marks means that even though he is on the field, when he is hurt he is a non-factor.

    1. Randy Moss ~ Everything in one package, Speed, Hands, jumping ability and more.2. Marvin Harrison ~ Probably some of the best hands in the league, doesnt say much. Pretty quick too.3. Terrell Owens ~ Complete Package like Moss, just isnt as fast.4. Chad Johnson ~ You got a grill like his you gunna get a top spot. But again great size, speed, good hands.5. Torry Holt ~ Kind of over looked because of Moss, Harrison and Owens, but is quick and next to Marvin with great hands.6. Hines Ward ~ Not as quick or has the athletic ability as some of the above, but a great blocking WR.7. Joe Horn ~ Joe has bits and pieces of the recievers above, so he gets the 7 slot.8. Javon Walker ~ I know he has Favre, but what he put up last year was stellar.9. Derrick Mason ~ Probably one of the most underrated WRs in the game. Look for him to get alot of balls in Baltimore.10. Anquan Boldin ~ Very young and his still getting better. Has the whole package.

    1. Randy Moss - Randy Moss played in EVERY game in his career until 2004 where he missed 3 games due to an injury. 2004 was also the only season he didn't get 1000 yards. He holds the record for most receiving touchdowns in a rookie season with 17. He averages 82 catches a season and 13 touchdowns a season. He's also caught 52 passes for over 40 yards in his career. His career average for yards per reception is 16. Many people can argue Terrell Owens deserves this spot. But Randy Moss IS the best wide receiver right now. Randy is also on pace for better years, with Kerry Collins as his QB. All Kerry will do is throw bombs to Moss.2. Marvin Harrison - Harrison has a streak of over 1000 yards and over 10 touchdowns for 6 straight seasons. He averages 94 catches a season and 11 touchdowns a season. He's caught 33 passes for over 40 yards. His career average for yards per reception is 13.2. He also averages over 1200 yards a season. He has 11185 career receiving yards. He also holds the record for most receptions in one season, with 143.3. Terrell Owens - Owens averages 74 catches a season and 11 touchdowns a season. He's caught 36 catches for over 40 yards in his career. His career average for yards per reception is 14.6. He also holds the record for most receptions in one game, with 20. Terrell's 2005 isn't looking very good. He may have to sit out for the whole year because of his off field antics. But he is still a top receiver in the league.4. Torry Holt - Holds the record for highest average yards per reception in a game (minimum 3 receptions ), with 63. Averages 86 catches a season and 8 touchdowns a season. In the future, holt will definetely be above most of these names. He has 8156 career receiving yards in 6 seasons. His career average for yards per reception is 16. Has 30 catches for over 40 yards. He is also a great downfield weapon. 5. Hines Ward - Hines averages 72 catches a season and 6 touchdowns a season. Ward never missed a game in his career. He was a QB in college. He is the best blocking WR. A very dedicated player and emotional team leader. His career average for yards per reception is 12. Averages 865 receiving yards a season. Has 40 career tackles. Only fumbled 6 times in his career, and none resulted in turnovers. Has a rushing touchdown and 375 rushing yards. He is one of the most overlooked wide receivers. 6. Chad Johnson - Averages 70 catches a season and 6 touchdowns a season. Going into 5th year. He's still young, and is got 95 catches last season. Second highest for a wede receiver.7. Javon Walker - He had a breakout season last year. He was always decent, but last year was just great. He jumped right up to the number one spot and made the pro bowl. 8. Joe Horn - Tied in second for the most touchdowns in a game record, with 4. Only averages 54 catches a seaon and 6 touchdowns a season because his first 3 seasons with the Chiefs, he barely played. However, he's a dominant wide receiver with the Saints now. Has 7168 receiving yards in his career. His career average for yards per reception is 14.6. He has 28 catches for over 40 yards.9. Anquan Boldin - His rookie season speaks for itself. He holds the record for most receptions in a rookie season. He is still getting better and will be one of the best receivers in the league. He's going to bounce back and have his best year, with Kurt Warner. 10. Andre Johnson - He is going into his 3rd year as an an all star. He has both tremendous speed and jumping ability. He is going to be a top receiver in the league in no time.

    Re: Top 10 WR's

i'm only doing top 5, because as I said before in RB, there botom 5 are usualy preference.1. Randy - what else can you say? nobody else can do it like him, its just not possible, he has .. a phrase named after him.. YOU GOT MOSSED.. you never heared u got riced.. or TO'ed... He's everything you want in a Star WR, except the attitude. He's on a Pace to brake Rice's record too. One negative thing, can't take a hit.2. Marvin Harrison - Best route runner ever behind rice, amazing hands, amazing adjustment he makes to mannings throws. He's got great leaping ability, and he has cough dew amazing catches over guys especialy for being his height and his weight.3. TO - Mr.showoff, mr.cheerleader.. but what do you excpect? when youPlay like him, your head gets so big its unbelieavable. The guy can catch, there is no doubt, he can outrun guys, he makes guys miss, he is stronger then most DB's so he outpowers them too, great assett yo any team. Attitude.. one negative.4. Tory Holt - Blazing speed, and play's on my favorite team [IMG]. But he's not here cauz of that, he;s this high, because he deserves it. He was the leading receiever last year, another very good route runner, w/ just stunning speed.5 Hines - it was a toos up between hines and Chad, but I went with ward, cauz he's consistence and smiles. The guy can block, the guy can catch, the guy will rush for you if u ask him and he'll do it w/ a smile on his face? what more can you ask? the guy gets laid out stands up and says "nice hit man". Attitude is part of the game.I add little personal flavor to my pics [IMG] since ward86 gave u all the stats [IMG]
