What are your thoughts on the Chiefs and Derrick Johnson?Personally, I think that he is the biggest steal in the draft next to Aaron Rodgers going to Green Bay. Then man is 6-4 and 220 pounds. He is an absolute BEAST.4.51 in the 40-yard dash, better than most NFL running backs, 345-pound bench press, 495-pound squat, 32Ω-inch vertical jump, 32-inch arms ? 9Ω-inch hands. He was awarded the nations best Linebacker with the Butkus award. He recorded 170 tackles (103 solo) with six sacks, 21 stops for losses, two interceptions and five forced fumbles in his final year.

Being an avid KC fan, and knowing that if the offense can maintain it's production all we will need is a top 15 defense to go to the big dance I am absolutely stoked about DJ. From an athletic standpoint he seems to have what it takes, and the coaches seem to think he is about ready for the big time. Long story short, I am already a fan.

Im a huge KC Fan as well...so when the saints passed on DJ it was only natural that my second favorite team pick him...i was very excited about him, and wanted the saints to take him, but having him on the chiefs isnt exactly a loss to me...

Yea, they were saying that he is the biggest steal in the draft, and the most physical defensive player in the draft. He was projected to go in the top ten, but I don't know why he dropped so far.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (McPherson2Gardner @ Aug 18 2005, 02:56 PM)</div><div class='quotemain'>they were knocking his tackling</div>Yea. He is so explosive though. He is a constant playmaker on Defense, something the Chiefs have been lacking since Derrick Thomas.BTW, on your sig, Is that Talman Gardner?
