Not if Dame continues to shoot horribly and the team gets nothing out of their starting PF.

Where did I say or imply we would win. I said it was unlikely we would get embarrassed. Stop the straw man. Stay on topic or don’t quote reply me.

I responded to a comment that said we would “get embarrassed” by the Lakers at home on Saturday because they beat the rockets by 2 because that was apparently such an impressive performance.

This is what happens when you start a SF at PF.

So do you think we will beat the Lakers on Saturday?

Misquoting seems to be a thing with you.
It said “MIGHT get embarrassed “.
The Blazers have shown no ability to control players as impactful as LeBron, Davis or Westbrook. The Lakers have all three.
It will take a huge effort to beat them. Yes they can. No they have not consistently shown they can. I agree with yours and many others opinion. We need Damian Lillard to show up or this season is going to get ugly.

You got it wrong. Nobody said Fakers won't win any games. AD is still great player and he like to kill us.
My bet would be Westbrick will go crazy in fourth and brick you out of the game.
Lillard should be fine at this point.
It will be good game to watch hopefully.

I dunno - I'm seriously worried. I never understood why he was supposed to be a clear #1 pick (like: head and shoulders above everyone else). It's not like he was Anthony Bennett - nobody expected him to go #1. He was more like, ooh, say, GREG ODEN - everyone said he was the clear cut #1. But you look at him play and it's like he's playing underwater. You better have Luka-Doncic-level genius brain if you're going to be like that.

    EDIT:

Carlisle has righted the ship in Indy, it looks like. But that seems to involve Turner being better than Sabonis.

He's 3-6 also. Not sure that is "Righting the Ship" but I'm pretty sure they are better off than the Blazers at 3-6 at this point.

We're 3-5 but it's been an ugly five losses so I can see why you'd think it was six.

Started off losing every game, but they were all close, and now he's having blowout wins over favored teams.

I agree. Carlisle is not a rookie coach. he will get them winning faster than Billups. Wondering now if Billups will need more than 20-30 games to get going. Might be a season or two?
