Is Anyone Talking About This?

Last year there was an 8 game stretch where Damian struggled big time.

Blazers were 1-7. (The one win being against Detroit where Dame actually shot 45% and 50% from 3 in that game). April 6-25. Sat out 3 games (1-2 in those games.)

Blazers were 3-5 with Billups and are currently sitting at 4-5, with a chance to be .500 tonight against solid competition on the season so far, too.

Way to go Coach Billups. It’s not a lot, but it’s something.

amazing what decent coaching can do.

Damn near .500 with your top 5 nba player like a scrub. I’ll take it.

 

Conversely, our only convincing win against Denver in the playoffs came when Dame scored 10 points.

Does that make Stotts a good coach?

Yeah Dame shot 35% in that stretch same as now. I wouldn’t put it all on coaching though. We have a deeper and better bench this year.
