This is absolutely a problem. I know the MPGs don't look as bad for Lillard/McCollum/Covington/Powell, but it's due to the number of blowouts we've had on both ends. In close games Chauncey rides his starters to the ground, regardless of how well others are playing. Tonight Nance 9 minutes, Covington 39? Really?
these are the things (game logistics/rotations/refs/etc) i expect a first time head coach to struggle with. things aren't looking good, rely on starters. there's a limit to that obviously. Nash was like it all season last yr.
We're a better team when the first unit isn't entirely together. We're better with Nassir on the floor. We're better when we can be bigger.
Nah, GB III should literally be getting every single one of his minutes. I actually want to see GB III play with Dame & CJ/Ant out there. Like Dame/Ant/Norm/Roco/GB III Probably not against KAT, or AD, or Embid - but otherwise. Could increase our transition scoring efficiency.
It's a pity we cannot really get any value out of Nance. Billups has to figure it out. I couldn't imagine there is a team in this league where Nance cannot get at least a 20 min role.
I think Nance has been good when he’s played. Very disruptive on defense and generally finishes near the rim well.
