<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Is Patriots quarterback Tom Brady trying to shed that glowing image that has made the two-time Super Bowl MVP America's darling? It sure seems that way given some of his comments in a recent GQ magazine interview."I go do the same (expletive) every 27-year-old guy does," Tom Brady said.''I hate that golden boy image,'' Brady tells writer David Kamp. ''I don't look at myself that way at all! For me to believe I can't do anything wrong ? I think that's all bull(expletive). I'm 27 years old, I go do the same (expletive) every 27-year-old guy does, I mean, I drink, I ... '''Search the Internet for porn?'' Kamp inquires.''Everything,'' Brady declares, ''I am no different.''Brady, who turned 28 earlier this month, is expected to see his first preseason action Thursday against the Saints in a nationally televised game on FOX.The three-time Super Bowl winner is entering his sixth season and fifth as the Patriots' starter. And he's looking to become the first quarterback to lead a team to three straight Super Bowl titles."Everyone knows what the goal is," Brady said about the possible three-peat. "But you're so far away from that goal, you can't begin to think about it."</div>
Interesting read, nice find, V?n0m.I have to say I kind of thought as Brady as kind of a 'golden boy' but after reading this, I can definitely say he isn't really. I never would have thought what he just said, it just doesn't sounds like Brady [At least from what I thought]Thanks for sharing!
I dont see why he seems like a Golden Boy. He's unshaved and wild IMO. But if he serchs for porn? Man theres thosands of girls for you
I don't know if he would say that when he has a HOT girlfriend and could get anyone, so I don't really by that part, he was probably joking.
I never looked at Tom Brady as a "golden boy". He's a talented football player who flourished under Bill Belichick's offense. Shadow, most professional athletes are not like "normal" people. Average Joe Schmo doesn't go into work demanding more money or they won't show up to work until they get it. Avg. Joe Schmo doesn't have to face the media constantly. Yes, athletes are like "normal" people in the sense that we both have two eyes, a nose, two ears, a heart, a lung, etc. But in a sense "normal" Joe Schmoe are very different from professional athletes. As for searching for porn on the internet, who hasn't? I'm sure a lot of professional athletes have. I'm sure a lot of us have. For the older people who say they never have, I'm sure you guys, when younger, had your playboy magazines, etc. which is considered to be porn. It seems though it was just a humerous question by the reporter which was retorted with a vague answer by Brady. Not a huge deal in my mind. He's a football player, what he does personally really is not the public's business.
