Because of his prior convictions/run ins maybe? Was it properly registered? Did he have a permit? Is it legal to transport such weapons in your car?

Yes. They become outlaws if guns are illegal. And many people, including police, would die in the effort to collect those guns.
1/3 of the population live in a household with guns. Legally purchased guns are rarely used in gun crimes.

Restricting guns isn't going to change a thing except raise more money for government and fill prison cells.

All I've seen is just that it was loaded.

Criminal possession of a firearm in the second degree. He's never hurt anybody with a gun, but he's had a ton of legal trouble for simply having guns.

The guy is an idiot. But he's never hurt anybody. And he's nearly had his life ruined over having guns. And he's a millionaire. A poor person would have been in jail most of his adult life.

    That's not right.

So, just take all of the guns out of the hands of bad people. Sounds easy, but it's not. Maybe instead of sending these bad people to prison we can just take their guns and wave a finger at them and tell them never to get a gun illegally again lol.

But, really, adding restrictions will help stop some people from getting guns, like persons who are mentally ill to a degree that they pose a danger to themselves or others.

More restrictions will likely mean fuller prisons. More money for the government means more money for the people...tax kickers baby!

But, is it really feasible to in and take all the guns bad people have? We can't know who all the bad people are. Where they are at? They can just get new guns.

Bad people who have criminal histories? Felons? They shouldn't have guns, but it's hard to stop them. There are other ways than gun shops to get guns.

Gun shops should have stricter background checks though. That could help some. Sure, people would be unconvinced, but at least you have a better idea that your not selling a gun to someone who is about to use it to kill.

Gun shows. Many have no background checks. That needs to change. People can go out of state and buy guns. That needs to change.

Well if he continuously got caught with unregistered guns that's on him. He could have went and registered his gun. Why didn't he? Why didn't he get a permit. He has no excuse. But, I guess the idea is if your rich and famous it's the cool thing to ride around with an unlicensed gun in your car.

bullets have no rights. We could try mandates on bullet production and sales.

can you imagine how they would feel if they knew every one of their potential victims will not have a gun?

    I get that.

Just saying guns already make these people feel unstoppable. They believe these guns are power. That is their downfall.

Rittenhouse jury concluded deliberations for the day, failed to reach a verdict yet. Will deliberate again tomorrow.

    A bad sign for Rittenhouse?

Were they unregistered? None of my guns are registered... Did he not have a permit? I haven't seen anything about a permit. I don't support requiring a permit to own a gun.

They were illegal somehow it wouldn't have been an issue.

He could have easily registered it or got a permit if that's the case.

A permit is really just a document affirming you will be responsible with the gun and not do stupid shit with it. Well, that an a money maker.

Taking the guns out of the victims’ hands would validify that belief.
Most criminals will go for the least confrontation possible and will turn down one potential victim for another if they think one is armed and one is not.
That hesitation goes out the window if guns are banned.

Are you against registering and permitting guns because you think the costs outweigh the benefits?

There is a point that should probably be brought up.
For what its worth, it seems most mass murder spree nuts(vegas) are legal gun owners. A gun ban would help in those scenarios.
But they are actually a tiny percentage of the overall annual gun murder rate.
