Those statistics are skewed by including suicide deaths. They’ve been debunked many times in these type of arguments. It’s disingenuous to conflate harming ones self with harming other people. It’s fairly common knowledge that gun violence is disproportionately worse in urban areas than other places. And yes, liberal-run areas specifically, if you really want to go that route.
From my thoughts to your keyboard…………and the fishnets don’t even hide the wrinkly knees. It’s like lookin’ ay my own knees….
Quoting the statistics he posted According to that map, if you want to go by that 8 out of the top 10 states in gun violence are conservative red states.
Is everyone aware of the ignore button? It’s very easy to use. If my posts are bothering you please use it.
No thanks. I don't ignore anyone. I don't run away from people with other opinions than mine and hide.
You don't mute annoying infomercials or leave a bar when some obnoxious asshole is screaming at the moon? You must be an anthropologist....
And, like I said, those statistics include suicide deaths so they do not accurately give a true representation of gun violence. If you look up gun *murders* the map changes very much.
That's different. In person If someone is being aggressive or a total lame-o, i don't mind leaving. If i'm reading someones thoughts on a forum, i'm not gonna run away. That's the dumbest thing you could do. Reading everyone agreeing with every thought you have would be boring. And it would lead to confirmation bias. Which doesn't surprise me coming from the people telling others to ignore.
my point is muting the white noise is not running away or hiding from anything other than white noise....it's like dialing in a radio station. I like a good signal. Plenty of people I disagree with often I'd never put on ignore...mostly because they have a sense of humor..
It isn't white noise. I read it. And either respond or I don't. Creating ones own bubble of confirmation bias is a dangerous thing.
no,,,,it's not....you learn over a long lifetime to use your filters ....bubble confirmation bias I don't even understand....I do however make choices to allow myself to enjoy the day...if muting a heckler helps that it's a good thing...I think you're taking the use of it a little too seriously but totally support your right to read all Aldo's posts in game threads....don't let my practices dictate any behavior at all...freedom of choice is great..ignoring some asshole on the internet is not a character flaw...it's a choice
you should become a mod...they have to do just that....reading opinions is fine...dealing with personal insults is beyond boring around this place...situation, problem, process, solution.....I like the solution option
